:iconjuu50x: has been so gracious as to produce a glorious memorial video for Ghost. I found the choice of music and the accompanying montage of her art and fan art to be very touching. You may view it here:

Please offer your continued support for Ghost and :iconjuu50x: for his extremely caring contribution to her memory by visiting the video on Youtube and leaving some kind words. Also, please tell your friends and other Trixie fans of it by redirecting them to the link so more people can discover and enjoy the video in turn. Thanks very much!

Battle-hardened Trixie fan guerrillas from the season 1 days will no doubt remember Ask Stoned Trixie on tumblr. At a time when Trixie art was rare, it was one of the only Trixie tumblr ask accounts that existed at all. I'm 95% sure it was the only one, actually, as I do not recall any others going on at the time. The artist, Ghost, had a unique way of illustrating that made her incredibly easy to identify. Coupled with a quirky and highly entertaining humor, Ghost's art was immediately captivating.

I remember talking with people that adamantly hated Trixie (hard to believe, I know) that couldn't help but like the Stoned Trixie incarnation of her and always wanted to see more. As I was frantically trying to promote more Trixie love whenever possible then, Ghost was a God-send in helping to accomplish that goal by producing very enjoyable Trixie art for everyone to love.

Today as I was browsing deviantART looking for new Trixie material, I came across some Stoned Trixie fan-art. Having not seen any for the longest time, I jumped in to take a look. What I read though in the descriptions and comments was absolutely soul crushing. Ghost passed away on September 22nd on a Sunday night. She was fifteen years old. All of the art of Stoned Trixie I was seeing was for Ghost's memorial. I can't express how punishing the blow was to receive in reading that; just unbelievable. A deeply cherished and influential Trixie fan is gone now.

If you would like to pay your respects and condolences to Nancy Phetchareune's memory, you may do so here:

You can find her fun tumblr pages here too:

Also on tumblr, an effort to create nice fan art for Stoned Trixie and other creations by Nancy to honor her memory has been set in motion.

Ghost fan-art memorial event: fisherpon.tumblr.com/post/6270…

I am not by any means savvy with tumblr, but for those of you who are, please do take part in this memorial service drawing event. Please also host what you make on deviantART too and submit it to Trixie Supremacy. I will place it all within this Journal as I receive it for everyone to enjoy.

It is a terrible thing when people we care for leave us, especially so suddenly. This art event however I think will help people cope with it easier.

Thank you very much!

It is always a tragic when someone from this amazing Fandom is gone from this life. And what makes it more tragic is how young our fellow Brony and Trixie fan was. It is always sad when someone so young and talented leaves our presence. But lets also remember that, she now is probably somewhere in much better place, maybe even looking over us. And maybe with our other fellow Bronies as well.

Let our memories also be happy ones. Especially for the ones that knew her personaly.

And, maybe we could also make some kind of memorial video? I could volunteer to make it, if I'm given enough art and maybe some good music suggestions. Or I could go with the "Into the West" song like in that video. What you say?
